RISING SUN, Ind. – UK sports betting exchange Smarkets announced on Tuesday that they have partnered with Full House Resorts. The European operator will provide mobile sports betting in the coming months at the Rising Star Casino property.

Sports betting became active in Indiana when Governor Eric Holcomb made the first bet on September 1. At the moment, Rising Star Casino does not have an active sportsbook. However, the casino resort is preparing for sports betting soon.

That is why parent-company Full House Resorts has partnered up with Smarkets. Smarkets will provide a sports betting app that is affiliated with the Rising Star Casino. Indiana allows for statewide mobile sports betting. This means that so long as you are within state borders, you will be able to use the Smarkets online sportsbook.

Indiana is not the only state that will benefit from the partnership. Partnering with Full House Resorts will eventually allow Smarkets to provide mobile sports betting in Colorado as well.

Colorado sports betting is not currently legal right now. Colorado sports betting must first go through a statewide referendum before it can be legal. If the referendum is a success, then Smarkets can provide mobile wagering to Colorado residents as well.

As mentioned, the Rising Star Casino does not currently have an active sportsbook. The casino is aiming to launch a retail sportsbook sometime in the fall. Afterward, they want to launch mobile sports betting with Smarkets. Patrons of the casino should have the full sports betting experience by late 2019.
