Last night the Washington Wizards drafted John Wall with the number one pick in the NBA Draft. That was a no brainer. Today the city of Washington D.C. rolled out the red carpet (literally) to welcome the point guard to his new home.
The Wizards spared no expense as they had dancers, local celebrities, even the mayor out to mark the memorable occasion. While Wall has never played a minute in the NBA, DC Mayer Andrian Fenty has already declared it John Wall Day within the district.
