The firings in the NFL are not over just yet. News coming out late today that the Tampa Buccaneers have fired Jon Gruden and GM Bruce Allen. This was a move that no one really saw coming. While Gruden was rumored to be on the chopping block, no one every considered it was a legit possibility for him to actually be fired.
The Buccaneers won a Super Bowl in Gruden's first year, and they have been in or near the playoffs in all of his other seasons. To say the least this is an odd move especially coming so late in the offseason. The number of available coaches are beginning to dwindle.
