Walker Sports College Football Top 25
We are getting down to the nitty gritty of the college football season. The BCS is set for a huge shake up with the potential of five undefeated teams. Where do all these teams rank in the Walker Sports top 25? Check it out.
)Florida Gators: The Gators are trucking along, but the more I see them, the more I worry about the SEC Championship game.
)Texas Longhorns: Focus remains the key for the Longhorns
)Boise State Broncos: The scary thing, is they aren't even the best non-BCS team.
)Alabama Crimson Tide: The Bama vs. Florida rematch could be dangerous. Can't wait for the SEC Championship.
)TCU Horn Frogs: This might be the best team in the country.
)Cincinnati Bearcats: The real question surrounding the Bearcats is will Brian Kelly be around to coach the bowl game?
)Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets: It is just fun to watch these guys. Too bad they won't get a an opportunity to show the world what they can do.
)LSU Tigers: Barring an upset these guys are going to be on the outside looking in.
)Pitt Panthers: Thanks to these guys, the Big East now looks like a legit conference.
)Ohio State Buckeyes: It makes me sick that this team is going to the Rose Bowl again. I hope Oregon rocks them.
)Oregon Ducks: The PAC 10 is wild and crazy and it's going to be difficult for the Ducks to hold on.
)Penn State: Not a lot to play for this season, but you can expect Joe Pa's team to play hard to the end.
)Oklahoma State Cowboys: Who would of thought that it's Oklahoma that has to opportunity to play the role of spoiler
)Standford Cardinals: This is a fun team to watch, and I love that the Cardinals ran the score up on USC.
)Houston Cougars: So much for this season, but they are still fun to watch.
)Iowa Hawkeyes: They played OSU much tighter than anyone expected, and thus covered the 17 point spread
)BYU Cougars: Fighting for second place behind TCU in the Mountain West is not the worse thing.
)Wisconsin Badgers: This is a reward for keeping their heads down and sluging through the Big 10.
)Virginia Tech Hokies: Not a lot to play for here except kicking UVA's ass and ending the Al Groh era.
)Oregon State: The Beavers are alive in the PAC 10 it could be interesting.
)Utah Utes: Tough lost against TCU this past season. They aren't the only team who ran into that problem.
)USC Trojans: Things are falling apart for the Trojans.
)Nebraska Cornhuskers: Trucking along in the Big 12 and looking to play the role of spoiler you have to like that.
)Miami Hurricanes: There's not a lot to play for in the ACC, but the Hurricanes have grown up a lot this eyar and that's good for next year's team.
)Rutgers: And you said the Big East wasn't a strong conference.
